Robbery at the Tuscany Village Subway

On July 24, 2015 at 6:45pm, The Saanich Police Department received a report of a robbery that had occurred at the Subway Restaurant located at 1638 McKenzie Avenue in the Tuscany Village complex.

The lone suspect entered the store while other customers were inside, approached the cashier and produced a weapon. The suspect then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Multiple police units attended the scene and the surrounding areas; however, the suspect was not located.

The suspect is described as a white female, in her 20’s, 5’3”-5’6” tall, slim build, wearing a thick, dark coloured 3/4 length double breasted button up jacket with a hood, dark coloured bag/purse, dark pants and black oval glasses.

The suspect was last seen fleeing eastbound on McKenzie Avenue in the direction of the University of Victoria.

This investigation is ongoing. The Saanich Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying this female suspect.
