On February 14, 2026, at approximately 4:15 p.m., a black Nissan SUV collided with a pedestrian in the intersection of Burnside Road and Harriet Road.
Following a brief conversation with the pedestrian, the driver left the scene, travelling west on Burnside Road West before emergency services arrived.
The pedestrian suffered injuries that were assessed by paramedics at the scene. They declined transport to hospital for further evaluation.
