On Friday evening, a male pulled a knife on some youths at a bus stop at Wilkinson and Interurban.
On Friday evening, at about 9pm, a 9-1-1 call was received about a male who had pulled a knife on two youths at a bus stop at Wilkinson and Interurban.
Apparently the suspect became bothered by two youths who were singing and dancing while waiting for the bus. He then approached the two with a knife and ordered them to be quiet.
A 9-1-1 call was made and a description was obtained.
A male matching the description of the suspect was spotted by a Saanich Police canine handler on Helmcken road. Arrested was an 18 year old male Victoria resident.
Recovered at the time of arrest was a small folding knife.
After arresting the suspect, investigators became concerned for his medical well-being. As a result he was taken to Royal Jubilee Hospital where he was admitted to the hospital.
