On Friday, Dec. 11th, 2011, at about 5:30pm, an armed robbery was reported by 911 to the Saanich Police Communications Centre. The call came from the Health Essentials store at the corner of Gorge and Tillicum.
A lone male entered and requested an item from the clerk who went to retrieve it. When she was ringing it in, he then produced a knife from his pocket and demanded money. The lone female store clerk provided a quantity of cash to the suspect.
The suspect is describes as:
-Caucasian male, late 20’s to early 30’s, thin build
-5’8″, brown hair, brown eyes
-Black jacket, jeans, runners, red loose fitting knitted toque
