Saanich Police are seeking the whereabouts of Cody James Patterson.
An outstanding warrant of arrest has been issued by the Victoria Courts for Cody James Patterson, a 22 year old Saanich resident.
The original incident took place on February 28th, 2009, in the 3200 block of Glasgow ave at about 4am.
Words exchanged between two groups of males in different suites in the same building. Later, two males burst into one of the suites, both armed with handguns. Threats were made and one male had a firearm placed to his head.
After a lengthy discussion between the two groups, the home invaders left. As they were leaving an offer to take the victims ‘…for breakfast,’ was made.
The Saanich Police Detectives led the investigation and conducted a search warrant at a separate unit in the building. Recovered during the search was a Beretta .22cal pistol and a replica pistol. This incident resulted in several charges, including:
• Break and enter with intent to commit an offence
• Assault with weapon
• Possess prohibited weapon
On February 23rd, 2012, Patterson was supposed to appear in court as part of a sentencing hearing into this matter. While on a break from court, Patterson proceeded to jump from a moving vehicle in the area of Douglas street and Broughton street. He then fled and police have been unable to locate him since.
If anybody knows the whereabouts of Cody Patterson, they are encouraged to contact the Saanich Police at 250-475-4321 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
