On Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at 9:17 pm, members of the Saanich Police Uniform Division responded to multiple 911 calls. Several callers phoned to report a man had been stabbed in the parking lot of 4420 West Saanich Rd.
A 22 year old man was transported to Victoria General Hospital with serious but non-threatening injuries. A number of employees and customers from the nearby Country Grocer store provided ‘first responder’ medical care to the young man.
Officers from the General Investigation Section and Forensic Identification Section were called to the scene to assist with the investigation.
