On November 30th at approximately 2 pm a lone male suspect entered the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce located at 2224 Oak Bay Avenue demanding cash from the bank tellers. The suspect produced what appeared to be a hand gun and was provided with an undisclosed amount of cash by the tellers. The suspect then fled the area on foot onto Oak Bay Ave towards Monterey Ave.
The bank tellers were not injured during the incident, however were visibly shaken.
The suspect is described as a white male, 25 to 30 years, approx. 5’11 to 6 ft, approx. 180 to 190 lbs, thin to medium build wearing a white colored hoody with dark horizontal stripes, jeans, black coloured runners and material covering his face. The male was also observed carrying a blue Adidas bag.
