On January 17th, a report was received by the Saanich Police regarding a work vehicle entered.
Many items including various electronics were removed from the vehicle. Later it was discovered that the following items were also missing:
– Shaw ball hat
– Work vest
– Work clip board
– Employee business cards
The theft occurred sometime over the weekend. The vehicle was entered by forcing the passenger side door lock.
If you have concerns about the validity of someone representing Shaw, people are encouraged to contact Shaw and confirm the employee's identity.
Saanich Police are receiving an increase in the number of reported autos entered in the municipality. If anybody has any information on who may be doing these crimes they are encouraged to conact the Saanich Police. The public is reminded once again not to leave anything of value in your vehicle.
