On May 2, 2021, around 2:40 PM the Saanich Police received a report of a black bear sighting in the 1600 block of Little Road.
The black bear was seen on the trail that connects Watkiss Wayand Little Road. The bear did not do anything aggressive. The bear was not located by police. Conservation was advised of the sighting.
We are asking members of the public attending the area to be aware of the recent bear sighting.
