On October 6, 2022, the body of an unknown male was located near the Lochside Regional Trail in the area of Quadra Street and Mckenzie Avenue in Saanich, BC. “Saanich Police detectives and the British Columbia Coroners service are working in partnership to identify the deceased male and determine the cause of death,” stated D/Sgt. Damian Kowalewich. There is no risk to the public and more information is expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
