Further to our previous release regarding the Investigation on the Galloping Goose:
We can now tell you that the Saanich Police Major Crime Unit are investigating the circumstances surrounding a male who presented himself at a local hospital with a gunshot wound. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. Investigators believe the victim was targeted and that there is no risk to the public.
Our Detectives continue to investigate, including the connection of the shooting to the District of Saanich.
