On November 25, 2025, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Saanich Police responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian at the intersection of Quadra Street and Saanich Road.
The pedestrian, who was crossing in a marked crosswalk, sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
Alcohol has been ruled out as a factor. However, conditions and the actions of both the driver and pedestrian are believed to have contributed to the incident.
We continue to investigate this matter.
