On January 30, 2026, just before 9 p.m., Saanich Police officers responded to the 100 block of Cadillac Avenue following a report of an explosion and vehicles on fire.
When officers arrived, they discovered three vehicles fully engulfed in flames. The Saanich Fire Department quickly extinguished the fires. There was no apparent damage to the home or other nearby vehicles, and no one was injured.
The cause of the fires is under investigation by the Saanich Police Major Crime Unit and are considered suspicious.
