We are investigating a report of a collision between a black SUV and a cyclist that occured on December 18, 2025, sometime between 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
A cyclist reported to police on December 20, 2025, that they were walking their bike through the intersection of Douglas Street and McKenzie Avenue on December 18th, when they were knocked to the ground by a black SUV that had just exited the Pat Bay Highway Northbound and was turning east onto McKenzie Avenue. The vehicle failed to stay at the scene.
Police were not called at the time of the incident, and the cyclist declined medical assistance.
