The Saanich Police Department will deploy a temporary camera at the Gorge Canada Day Picnic, along the Gorge Waterway, in support of our operations to ensure public safety at this event. The camera will be visibly located on our Command Vehicle and is being deployed in a public space in accordance with provincial and federal privacy laws. It will be removed at the conclusion of the event.
